Rehabilitation Therapy

Stonehouse can provide rehabilitation therapy for adults and children in your home, office or school. Our therapists specialize in various areas. When providing you with a therapist we will gather information and choose a therapist with expertise in the area in which you require assistance. If your 3 year old requires physical therapy he will have a therapist trained in pediatrics. If your 88 year old father needs help he will receive assistance from a physical therapist with geriatric training.

Post-operative care
We recognize that many surgeries require that you complete physical or occupational therapy to optimize the outcome of your surgery. We have a team of therapists that specialize in post-operative care. We will meet with you in your home or office and assess your treatment plan with the goal of resuming or improving your function.

Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
All therapists are licensed in the state of Virginia and have graduated from an accredited institution. They specialize in various areas of treatment including orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, brain injury, spinal cord injury, sports medicine, neurodevelopmental treatment, and sensory integration techniques.

Speech Therapist
Our speech therapists are licensed in the state of Virginia and have graduated from an accredited institution. They specialize in disfluency, stuttering, stroke rehabilitation, swallow disorders, dysphagia, oral motor skills, articulation and language processing.
